Who doesn’t like to shop ‘till they drop? On September 10th get readyfor an all night shopping extravaganza with Fashion’s Night Out, an event organized by the CFDA and all of the international editions of Vogue to get customers back into shops.
The event will happen in every city Vogue is published in; however the New York location will be fashion week’s kickoff party. Join the suave and stylish in celebrating over 700 designers and retailers like Rag& Bone, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler.
Don’t be surprised if you spot more than one famous face, everyone from models, celebrities and designers will be walking around the city. The queen of fashion herself, Anna Wintour will be starting out the night at Macy’s in Queens signing t-shirts, an opportunity no fashion fanatic should miss. Vogue’s Editor-at-Large, André Leon Talley, will be hosting a life size game of ‘Fashion Rules’ at Bergdorf Goodman where guests can play on teams lead by Donna Karan, Linda Fargo and Robert Verdi. Sound exciting yet?
There will also be musical performances around the city, champagne and hors d’oeuvres, outdoor barbeques and more. Just don’t get too carried away in the frenzy of everything and remember to shop!
