Styling Goes Virtual: Nintendo DS

Have a weakness for clothing but not the budget to support it? Love the challenge of putting together the perfect outfit, but don’t have the resources to indulge regularly?
Not to worry, Nintendo has just released Style Savvy for DS, which may be the perfect game for you.

In the game, you begin as a sales associate in a clothing store. You will greet new customers, listen to their shopping requests, and then recommend a piece of clothing or an outfit that will fit their budget.

If you succeed, you will be promoted and will eventually run your own store where you’re in charge of the budget, inventory and styling. You can even participate in fashion shows!

Nintendo has added a dash of real-life fashion by collaborating with Charlotte Ronson, who recently launched her ‘I Heart Ronson’ line for JCPenney. Most of the collection is available electronically as one of more than 10,000 inventory pieces in the game.

We think it’s a great idea, and the commercial is too cute.
