The Black Keys new album

The Black Keys are back. The Keys will release Brothers on May 18 and we can’t wait. Although they haven’t been around since 2008 the duo Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach have been busy creating music dabbling in solo efforts.  They also collaborated with Damon Dash on the monster BlackRoc project, which included collaborations with hip hop giants such as MosDef and Q-tip.

Their new effort, recorded at the famed Muscle Shoals studio in Alabama, is mainly produced by Auerbah and Carney, so we can be sure to hear their soulful folk and blues sound resonate throughout.

The Black Keys plan to tour this coming summer. Only a few dates have been announced so far, which include Bonnaroo and Central Park Summer stage.
