Belle & Sebastian are iconic as they come. They’ve been around since the late nineties and despite their lack of commercial success, their cult following is massive and the critics love them.
Lead singer Stuart Murdoch took the last four years to work on a solo side project God Help the Girl, but now they’re back.
An note sent to their mailing list explained that they will be saying cheerio to Glasgow and will be heading over to sunny Los Angeles to record their seventh album.
The prolific indie band has also announced festival tour dates in Japan and Scandinavia, and will be making an announcement for a UK show next week. Nothing has been mentioned about North America yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
